  1. 3M 3748 VO Solid Thermoplastic General Adhesive

3M™ Hot Melt Adhesive 3748 VO is a 100% solids thermoplastic, general purpose adhesive. This self extinguishing adhesive won't burn when the source of combustion is removed. It offers good thermal and electrical properties for printed wiring, circuit board and other electronic applications and is shock resistant for parts that are subject to vibration or other movement.

  2. 3M 3779 Amber-colored high-performance thermoplastic adhesive

3M™ 3779 Hot Melt Adhesive is an amber-colored, high-performance thermoplastic adhesive. 3M™ Hot Melt Adhesive Stick 3779 offers excellent heat resistance, impact resistance, as well as resistance to fuel and oil. It is made with 100% solid thermoplastic resin and is designed to be used with 3M™ hot melt applicators. The adhesive provides exceptional temperature stability (300ºF / 149ºC) and is highly suitable for electronic devices and potting applications. This product supports high productivity, requiring only 25 seconds of assembly time for positioning and adjustment. Additionally, 3M™ Hot Melt Adhesive Stick 3779 has a low odor, contributing to a comfortable working environment. The adhesive can bond wood, polypropylene, electronic devices, ethylene-based, and lightweight substrates onto furniture, automotive interiors, small appliances, or be used for outdoor applications and general product assembly.

  3. 3M 3792 Transparent multifunctional adhesive

3M™ Hot Melt Adhesive 3792 is a transparent, multi-purpose adhesive that effectively bonds wood, light metals, and some plastics in furniture, interior decoration, and woodworking applications.

The open bonding time allows for adjustment and positioning. With a 50-second open bonding time, 3M™ 3792 Hot Melt Adhesive enables positioning and adjustment on wood, polypropylene, corrugated boxes, and lightweight substrates. Its near-instant bonding characteristics help shorten production time for POP assembly, bonding, fastening, protection, repair, potting, panel bonding, wire tacking, bundling, sealing, encapsulation, stiffening, foam bonding, and packaging. Used in conjunction with 3M™ hot melt adhesive guns.

  4. 3M 3762 Full-resin solid hot melt adhesive

3M™ 3762 Hot Melt Adhesive is an economical and fast-curing, all-resin solid hot melt adhesive. It is suitable for general applications as well as manual sealing, carton sealing, and general packaging. When heated to its specific melting point, the adhesive forms an aggressive hot tack that achieves operational strength within seconds, contributing to high-speed productivity.

Aggressive hot tack for fast operational strength
The all-solid, thermoplastic resin formulation of 3M™ 3762 Hot Melt Adhesive enables fast bonding and sealing to meet the requirements of high-volume production setups, such as packaging, woodworking, and assembly. These features enhance carton sealing speed and enable bonding to wood, paperboard, corrugated board, and other fiber-based substrates. It offers high shear strength and low peel strength, meaning your packages stay sealed and components stay bonded under most conditions. Along a 1/8-inch bead, the 25-second open bonding time is sufficient for positioning and adjusting to accommodate and support high-speed productivity in packaging, woodworking, and fiber-based applications. Its low viscosity prevents stringing even at fast production speeds. Recommended application temperature range: 350-385°F (177-196°C).

  5. 3M 3792LM Transparent multifunctional adhesive

3M™ Hot Melt Adhesive 3792LM is a transparent, multi-purpose adhesive that effectively bonds wood, lightweight metals, and certain plastics for furniture, decorations, and woodworking applications. The recommended application temperature range is 250-270°F (121-132°C).

Open bonding time allows for adjustment and positioning
The open time of 3M™ Hot Melt Adhesive 3792LM is 50 seconds, allowing for positioning and adjustment on wood, polypropylene, corrugated boxes, and lightweight substrates. Its near-instant bonding characteristics help shorten production time for POP assembly, bonding, fastening, fixing, repair, potting, panel bonding, wire tacking, bundling, sealing, encapsulation, stiffening, foam bonding, and packaging. Used in conjunction with 3M™ hot melt adhesive applicators. The recommended application temperature range is 250-270°F (121-132°C).

  6. DOWSIL 737

RTV adhesive/sealant with primerless adhesion to most materials.
  7. DOWSIL 736

Red RTV adhesive/sealant for temperatures up to 600°F/315°C.
  8. 3M 3797 Electronic Potting Hot Melt Adhesive

3M 3797 Hot Melt Adhesive is a high-temperature resistant, low viscosity adhesive that is ideal for effective coverage and protection in small areas, making it particularly suitable for electrical potting. This fully solid thermoplastic adhesive even provides a 30-second open bonding time, making it suitable for deep groove potting as well. The use of the 3M™ PG II Hot Melt Applicator ensures better coating results and is highly suitable for high-volume operations. Hot melt adhesive for electrical potting 3M 3797 Hot Melt Adhesive is a 100% solid thermoplastic low-melting-point adhesive with low viscosity and high-temperature resistance, making it suitable for electrical potting adhesives and other coatings involving electrical and electronic components. It is particularly useful for coatings where protection and long-term stability are crucial. This hot melt adhesive is easy and smooth to flow into small areas, such as on printed circuit boards, after being dispensed, and it cures rapidly. The approximately 30-second open bonding time facilitates effective deep potting, and it enhances efficiency in high-volume operations.
